My initial idea for this assignment was to explore my memories of my mother following her death. After a lot of toing and froing, including developing a completely different narrative, I returned to the my original idea. My final image is different from my initial idea in that it looks at my mother’s death from my father’s perspective rather than mine and the narrative it is trying to explore is the notion of loss rather than memory.
